Thermos Nights...This sound is fine, as long as it’s healthy...

Per chi segue i programmi di RCDC anche di notte...e per chi si sintonizza per caso ascoltando la radio...un brumoso weekend di novembre...i rumori dilatati della citta'...luci sfuocate tra buio e nebbia.
Un locale che sembra una vecchia palestra/bocciofila al coperto...incastrato tra i binari della ferrovia e quel che resta delle vecchie officine di Bologna che avevano addirittura piccoli scali ferroviari per le loro merci.
La Bolognina Stalingrado in continuo mutamento...sociale... culturale...multietnico...antropologico e visibilmente anche edilizio paesaggistico.
Il Locomotiv Club e' un piccolo angolo...spazio tempo...di dimenticata Bolognesita' in tutto questo caos e disordine globalizzato.
Cevo l'ho conosciuto ormai qualche freddo novembre fa..proprio nelle prime serate di apertura del locale...ha gli occhi furbi e dolci del ragazzo di quartiere legato indissolubilmente alle nostre tradizioni...da tempo nell'associazionismo piu' radical chic e concreto della seconda meta' degli anni duemila.
Lo vidi servire al bar con scioltezza un bel po' di clienti...e poi indossare la cuffia da dj con altrettanta semplicita'.
Con i cdj ci sa proprio fare...dissi tra me e me...difficile come sono...anche il sound non e' male...ma quello che mi colpi' di piu' era il perfetto tempo di attacco tra un pezzo e l'altro......
Dj Cevo GT...come ama farsi chiamare in consolle...da allora ne ha fatta di strada...(..e anche il Locomotiv Club...)ma per me restera' sempre quel ragazzotto semplice... a meta' tra volontario della festa dell'Unita'...un po' hipster ormai cresciuto...innamorato della musica...e un bravissimo dj nonche' professionale organizzatore e illuminato gestore.
Cevo GT e' uno dei maggiori esponenti della scena nu-disco italiana e stabilmente il #numero uno in citta'. In esclusiva...per Thermos Nights...un dj set...pieno di stile...ritmo e intenso gusto musicale.

Il weekend di RCDC si tinge dei colori dell'autunno, le calde sfumature del verde, dell'arancio, del rosso e del giallo...mischiate poi tutto con l'aria frizzantina di ottobre e il tripudio di odori e sapori tipico delle nostre prime colline...il risultato e' sfolgorante e pieno di energia ! Il nostro ospite di casa questa settimana e' l'amico e il Dj che piu' ci rappresenta...signore e signori...maitre de consolle...Dj MAYO !
Ospite fisso di ogni nostro inizio stagione...ama svelarci piccoli segreti del sua sconfinata collezione di vinili...autentico guru della dj culture e della nightlife cittadina...ci ha deliziato fino alle prime luci del mattino poche settimane fa nella sua ultima performance al Robot Festival #4...Alle prese con i live electronics fin dagli anni Novanta al Link di Bologna, Mayo, noto anche come Soulomon e LowLow, ha approfondito un gusto personale per i suoni e la magia degli underground club perduti agli albori della nascita della scena techno e house.
Negli ultimi anni, la sua attività si è spostata in studio tenendosi però aperta la porta del djing per selezionati club di culto. Tra le etichette che hanno patrocinato le sue produzioni troviamo soprattutto realtà americane come Mathematics, Recondite, Underground Quality, Deep4Life, SameSoulDifferentBodyImprint, ma anche tedesche, Millions Of Moments, e nostrane, la Irma Records. LowLow è l’alias con il quale Mayo esplora le zone più robotiche e dark disco della left-field music in uno spettro di suoni analogici.

...questa settimana partiamo alla grandissima..anche con i nostri ospiti...alcuni tra i dj piu' amati, seguiti e a la page della nostra citta'...prima puntata tutta rosa shocking con impronta 80's e nu disco...Betty Boop Dj...meglio nota nei registri comunali e presso la buoncostume come Bea...ormai da piu' di un decennio stabilmente un icona dell'underground cittadino...artista...dj e ottima grafica...non disdegna ogni tanto prendere un last minute per bersi qualche becksina a Berlino tra sanazzi e negozietti vintage...unica...per fortuna...e nn riproducibile..lascia un segno di allegria, fantasia...glitters e brillantini...ad ogni ascoltatore e a tutta la pista!
